Latin Resources Limited (ASX: LRS) was an Australian-based mineral exploration company, with projects in South America and Australia.
The Company focused on its flagship Salinas Lithium Project in the pro-mining district of Minas Gerais Brazil, where the Company defined a Global Mineral Resource Estimate at its Colina Lithium Depositof 70.3Mt @ 1.3% Li2O, reported above a cut-off of 0.5% Li2O. A top 10 world class lithium deposit.
The classification of this JORC MRE includes:
• Colina MRE- 63.5Mt @ 1.3% Li2O (1.73Mt @ 1.47% Li2O Measured + 39.29Mt @ 1.36% Li2O Indicated) + 22.47Mt @ 1.21% Li2O Inferred.
• Fog’s Block MRE- 6.8Mt @ 0.9% Li2O Inferred.
The Company defined a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)** which contemplates a proposed 3.6Mtpa standalone mining and processing operation over two phases. where the economics show after-tax NPV8% of A$3.6 billion (US$2.5 billion) and combined after-tax IRR of 132%.
Latin Resources was acquired by PLS Limited in February of 2025.

Swiftel Ltd
Swiftel Ltd was a listed Australian company founded by Chris Gale. It was granted a Telecommunications licence, and listed on the ASX through a reverse takeover of Roebuck Resources, a listed mining investment company. Swiftel built one of Australia’s first Metropolitan Fibre optic Networks (MFN) along with a Data Centre , in Perth, Australia.
Swiftel was listed in the 2003 Australian Deloitte Fast 50 list of growing companies ranking as the 5th fastest growing technology company. In 2004 People Telecom merged with Swiftel Ltd. At the time of the merger with People Telecom, Swiftel had a growing data telecom business and by merging with People Telecom they had a combined group providing a full suite of telephony and data services for business users totalling over 30,000 business consumers across Australia. People Telecom was acquired by M2 Telecommunications in December 2008 and is now placed in the ASX 200.
